Cookies & browser storage
Last updated: November 1, 2026
Create4Digital uses cookies and similar browser storage to operate the store. Optional preferences and analytics are off until you allow them. You can browse, buy and join the newsletter without allowing optional categories.
Essential functions
Base44 supplies hosting, account access and security. Account/session storage supports sign-in and access to purchases. Our shopping cart uses c4d_cart_v1 in local storage to retain the items you choose; it is cleared when the cart is cleared or browser storage is removed. These functions are kept separate from optional analytics.
We save your privacy choices under c4d_cookie_choices_v1 for 180 days. This contains your category choices, the notice version and timestamps, not your email address. After expiry, we ask again. If browser storage is blocked, your choice can remain only in this open page.
Optional preferences
If allowed, we remember freebie-popup dismissal and signup-request status using c4d-freebie-popup-dismissed-until, c4d-freebie-popup-shown and c4d-newsletter-signup-requested. A dismissal pauses the invitation for seven days. Signup status is a browser marker, not a copy of your email. The legacy membership-banner dismissal key is also treated as optional.
Without this permission, popup choices remain only in memory for this open page and are lost on reload. With permission, the session marker lasts for the browser session; other markers remain until cleared or optional preferences are withdrawn or expire. Declining this category does not unsubscribe you from emails.
Optional analytics
If allowed, Base44 receives website/session measurement and our traffic-source event, including the page URL, referral information, campaign/source information and visit/session activity. The platform may associate measurements with the signed-in account. This helps us understand how visitors reach and use the site. Do not put confidential information in campaign links.
The normal store client has automatic analytics disabled. The analytics client is started only after permission on public marketing pages. The SDK may use base44_analytics_session_id. Withdrawing analytics permission stops that client and removes this local identifier; it does not recall information already sent. Essential service/security logs are separate from optional visit analytics.
Advertising pixels and session recordings are not enabled in this implementation. We treat a browser Global Privacy Control signal as declining optional analytics.
Payments, media and other providers
Payment providers such as Stripe operate their own checkout and may use storage for security and payment functions. Their notices apply on their services. Base44 media hosting and Google Fonts also receive normal requests when their assets are loaded, which can include an IP address and browser information.
Embedded YouTube or Vimeo course videos are not loaded until you request them. We identify the provider before loading it; the provider then receives the request and its own privacy practices apply.
Change your choice
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change categories. Rejecting optional categories does not stop required store functions. Browser controls can also clear storage, but clearing account or cart storage can sign you out or empty your cart. Cookie choices do not control newsletter subscriptions; use the unsubscribe link in an email for that.
